You've heard that old saying, that clothes make the man?  Well, they make the woman too.   And even more importantly than that, they can make or break the atmosphere as well. 

Try showing up at a black-tie affair dressed in blue jeans and a plaid shirt and a black tie.   Those with good taste will ignore your odd attire.   Unfortunately, most of us are not well-bred enough to overlook this major guffaw of society - not even me.   I would be as apt to stare (forgive me, please *SMILE*) as the next person.
